4 Ways to Keep ‘Bike to Work Week’ Going

Alas, Bike to Work Week is over, but hold on one second. This doesn’t mean you have to pick up those car keys again. Here are a few tips to keeping up the good habit.

1.       Keep track of your progress.

Make a game out of it—the more you bike to work or school, the better. Reward yourself for every week you go car free!

2.       Hold on to that post-exercise feeling.

If that easy, car-drive laziness starts to get a hold of you, just remember how good it feels to be physically active. The wind in your face, the alert mentality. Then drop your keys, grab your bike and take it all in for real.

3.       Grab a friend!

Everything is easier with a friend by your side. Your trip will be a lot more fun too.

4.       Say goodbye to your car.

This one may be a little drastic for us city folk. But with all these biking benefits, is having a car really necessary? Weigh the options. You may be surprised with what you find out.

Why do you choose to bike instead of drive? Let us know in the comments!
