This week we are celebrating Clean Commute Week. Clean Commute Week is a five day event for schools that raises awareness about clean commute options.
Throughout the week encourage four clean modes of transportation: biking, walking, bus riding, and carpooling. To kick off the week, lets talk about biking and some of the advantages of riding one.
“The bicycle is a simple machine that can help solve some of our planet’s most complicated problems.” – Carolyn Szczepanski
Whether you rely on your bike for transportation or not, it is a great way to get exercise and maintain your health. Riding your bike to and from school helps to reduce your environmental impact and is one of the best options for you to get around.
Check out the eco-bike! It’s made with bamboo, an Eco-friendly product that can help you create a more sustainable future. Would you ride this bike?
