From Red Sludge to Green City

But that’s what happened in Devecser, Hungary in 2010 after a reservoir of an aluminum factory broke. Four years later, Devecser looks more like this.

Much better!

Now the city is set on using natural gasses and other local resources (like poplar trees) to heat their homes in the chilling winters. With a new solar vegetable dehydration plant, there will be even more energy resources.
