The Drinkable Book

This is probably the most useful book we’ve ever seen—it teaches people about water sanitation and acts as a filter to kill waterborne diseases.

The book is really easy to use: just tear each page along the perforation, slide it onto the 3D printed case, and pour the contaminated water onto the page. The paper is coated with particles that target diseases like cholera and E. coli.

The filtered water is as clean as tap water in the U.S. and the filter pages have tips for living with safe water habits. The book is also ridiculously cheap to make, which means that there’s no downside to this. Like, at all.
